very easy math problem

The following is considered a very easy math prob which appears on the very first few questions. But I couldn't solve it:( Help me out.
1. Which of the following is NOT a factor of ten quadrat (exponent) minus ten?
A 10
B 15
C 30
D 45
E 50

You mean 10x10 - 10? Or 90. So 50 isn’t a factor.

Where did you get this question, and the use of “quadrat” to mean “square”?

It’s E since 10^x - 10 is never evenly divisible by 50.
e.g.

10^2 - 10 or 90 is not divisible by 50.
10^3 - 10 or 990 is not divisible by 50.
and so on…

yeah 10 square minus 10 which is 90. Thank you so much guys. I just made a very careless mistake, when subtracting. I just added them up and got 190. How stupid I am.
