colleges don’t look at your AP scores so the myth of ‘making up the lack of grades with AP scores’ isn’t true. i personally got in as a mcdb major(one of the toughest bio majors here) and bioE at ucsd(rank 2nd in the nation or something like that) getting B’s in AP bio and a 2 on the AP exam so you go figure. however engineering probably looks at your math AP scores-- i have yet to see any engineer start off at the precalculus level.

I refuse to give up just yet and I definitely take your advice to heart Shrinkrap! I think I have 3 or 4 weeks left until the SAT 2 so I will most certainly be diligently studying for them! TeRRaNoXiC, I definitely won’t be an engineer, since I like english, so perhaps that will lessen the blow. My math grades are my only problem right now and I will be doing my best to solve my problem.
Thank you for all your help and I am off to study for fall grades and SATs! :D

Well, good luck! I wish you all the best. :D

In addition to UCLA, Berkeley, and Irvine, which are already on your list, UCSB and Davis have excellent English departments.

Thank you for the suggestions and I will keep the other UCs in mind! But I really really really like UCLA and want to maintain my concentration on it, along with the others on my list. I love English and I am happy to hear that the other UC’s have strong English departments as well ^_^
