I have very lousy SAT II scores (a 660 in Spanish, a 620 in Math I), and I want to bury these scores into a chest, sink it in the Atlantic Ocean, and hope that it doesn't get discovered until another thousand years.

However, I'm not sure if that's possible :P If the university that I want to apply to doesn't require students to have their SAT II scores, can I not tell them about these lousy scores? Or will it be sent to the school anyway? And how much will these scores affect my chances?

they will be on your transcript so i guess technically they are sent.. but you shouldn't worry since the school you want to apply doesn't require students to have sat II scores. maybe they won't look at them. lol just my thoughts.

So do I. I am retaking my tests (770 in Bio, 730 in Lit,) so that I can improve upon them. The colleges that I am applying to will see my scores unfortunately; however, it's not the end of the world...I hope.

Those scores won't HURT you if they get sent to a school where they aren't required. Honestly. You think they're awful, but they could be a whole lot worse.

And I feel ill that person above me ^ is retaking those scores. I wish I had $45 to blow every time I was 30 points away from a perfect score. :

They usually won't hurt you. What could hurt you is if you keep taking them over and over again and basically don't improve. If your school doesn't require SAT IIs, it won't matter much at all. I wouldn't worry about it.
