very low gpa, high everything else, what to do?

Where should I apply and what are my chances? I should've taken more care with my work/essays =(. I've read quite a few posts and have never seen anyone with as good standardized tests and such a low gpa. Are there any schools that don't weight your gpa as much? I'm considering a math/science major.

and your weighted gpa?

School doesn’t weight

bumpbump…

^You should try to calculate your weighted GPA. Even if your school doesn’t do it, colleges will.

And if you are really clueless as to where you want to apply, the first step is always to decide what your intended major is.

What’s your class rank?

^OP said that his school does not rank

This is actually a very typical scenario. How colleges (and high schools) size this up is smart slacker. In all honesty, you need to let GPA lead in choosing colleges, but many state schools have formulas under which high scores can balance low GPAs. There are also some private schools trying to climb in the rankings that treasure high scores. Think LACs ranked below 15.
