UC Irvine
UCLA (Not expecting to get in)
University of Texas at Austin
University of Denver

University of Washington
Could you guys chance me pleasee If these colleges are too reckless for me to apply, could you guys suggest me some colleges to apply? I’m planning on majoring in Industrial Engineering
Not sure about the others, but UT will be very hard to get into for engineering, ESPECIALLY if you’re out of state. Although the university itself isn’t ranked as high, Cockrell Engineering School is, so I’d say it’s a reach.
@undeewear Cockrell Engineering school is the engineering program at UT Austin. I meant to say that the university itself isn’t among the top ten in the nation, but its engineering program is among the top ten engineering programs in the nation (of course beaten by MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Berkeley, Stanford, etc), making it a reach school.
UT, UWashington, UCLA aren’t happening.
Apply to NM Tech, Cal Poly SLO, and MO School of Engineering and Technology, they’d be safety to low match.
What’s your budget and have you checked with your parents that they can afford whatever the NPC shows?
University of Denver, Purdue, and Texas Tech are all in reach. Purdue’s probably the best of those 3 for engineering. Virginia Tech is a coin toss (50/50). Hopefully it all works
I would recommend UNR. Seeing as you live in nevada and you have a decent gpa, you qualify for the Governor Guinn Millennium Scholarship. This can reduce the cost of college significantly. Considering that unr has an 83% acceptance rate and you are instate. You can go there for below the sticker value.
