Very nice article about Champlain College

<p>That is a nice article. I am a fan of Champlain. Have to admit I was surprised by the “no tenure” comment. I realize Champlain is not a research institution but it had never occurred to me that faculty are not accorded tenure.</p>

<p>I didn’t know about the no tenure policy either. I thought one of the benefits of tenure was that you could take a sabbatical every so many years. I know that the head of my sons division at Champlain is on sabbatical right now.</p>

<p>Overall, I also thought it was a great article. We’ve been very impressed with Champlain’s pointed approach towards careers and the emphasis on writing skills.
