Do they actually check to make sure you have participated in these community service events? If I get accepted, do I have to fax in papers to show I was actually involved in it? I'm not planning on making up things, I just don't have any paperwork to show for it.

they do random screening

I have never seen evidence that they do random screening for transfer applicants. I know they do it for freshman applicants, there was a thread about this on the UC Berkeley forum. Has anyone who’s been through the transfer application process gotten screened?

I ended up writing that I have completed 180 hours of community service in Good Samaritan Hospital, instead of my actual 160 (something went wrong with my math when i multiplied the hours). lol I do not think they will check it, unless you wrote something like, “I went to Darfur for a year to stop the genocide”.

beargoldenbear, do you remember which thread it was that you read about that?
