i just got my schedule today in the mail and fortunately, i got all the classes i signed up for, but ive also now begun to worry again about signing up for too much...

ive got...
intro to microeconomics
expos
intermediate french 131
calc i 135
psych 101
figs

that feels like a lot, and im especially worried about expos... 'cause id rather do well in all my classes than stuffing myself with so much stuff, plus im gonna be doing work-study... and i would have 4 classes on monday (rest of the week is fine tho) can some1 help me with this??

Micro, Expos, and Psych are relatively easy.

And if you had Calc in high school, then you shouldn't have a problem there.

Still, it's your first semester, so 18 credits might be a little too much. I would drop micro or maybe french if it's not too important. You'll want a lot of free time to meet people, participate in EC's, and just to get adjusted to college life.

And with 15 credits/semester, you'll still be on track to graduate in 4 years and possibly sooner if you decide to increase your load and/or take summer/winter classes.

Expos is not hard. You just read a little bit, write a little bit, and get your professors thoughts on it. It's one 4/5 page paper per week and it gets revised by classmates/professor. You'll get the hang of it. Even if you don't do too well on the first 3 papers, if u pass your last 3 you will get a decent grade. The grade is based strictly on the last 3 papers and they look for progression. They wanna see you get like a B, B+, A. Finishing the semester like this will probrably get you an A.

Gen. Psych also is not that hard. Just read the topics covered and you will be fine.

If you took AP Calc in HS calc 135 will be a piece of cake
