Very stupid spelling mistakes

I just re-read my application and:

"to be one of the juries" instead of jurers

"companiesat" which obviously is companies at

"..played in the graduation.." instead of "on the graduation"

am I doomed?

2 or 3? You are fine...Heh, I found a lot of people here fretting over a couple of grammar mistakes. I'd think the only time that it would actually matter is when your paper has so many of them that the board starts to doubt whether you even read it over once.

You're Absoluteley Screwed To Hell.

you're fine...but why would you even want to read over your application once it is already in? Nothing good can come out of it.

yeah, i read my UChicago essay and I just realized how ridiculous I am

haha, yeah, i realized just after submitting my applicting that I confused "lay" and "lied", but there's not really anything i can do now, so oh well! stop frettin'

;)

At one college I visited, the Admissions counselor told us about an applicant who wrote his essay all about broccoli, but spelled it "brocolli" throughout the essay. However, his scores, etc. were all high enough to compensate for his mistake and he was accepted. I wouldn't worry about it too much, if they even notice, hopefully the rest of your application will outweigh a couple of small typing errors.

I made a decision to never re-read my essays. Seriously, the thought of them makes me cringe even though I thought most of them were pretty good at the time. Maybe I'll re-read the ones for the colleges that accept me.

yup i made 4 silly mistakes
would the fact that i am an immigrant be an excuse? :P
i thought about calling them and asking if i could correct the mistakes but i guess that would be not fair :(
