very unsure NEED HELP with chances!!

I am a junior in high school, and I am starting to look for college/university options. I am thinking about NYU, Fordham and Barnard as idealistic reaches-- Babson, American U and UVM as targets. Is this reasonable?

PSAT: 63 math and CR 63 and CW 63 (total: 189)

GPA: 3.5

Will have taken (upon graduation): AP English, AP Biology, AP Statistics, AP Human Geography, and AP Economics, as well as 2 years of Arabic and 2 years of French

Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse-- state awards for field hockey.

4 volunteer-based extracurriculars, officer's position in two.

Doing a volunteer project with local hospital for under-privileged community/ immigrant workers.

NHS member, as well as Junior NHS.

Full-time job.

Teacher recommendations should (hopefully!) be solid, one of my teachers has alredy appoached me offering to write one.

My mom was an NYU graduate, and many family members have graduated from Barnard.
Is there hope??

**** I should have mentioned: GPA is unweighted and I plan on majoring in Political Science. (if that changes anything)

American will be pretty difficult with a 3.5, and you’ll need to score better than a 1890 on the SAT. NYU and Fordham shouldn’t be a problem. I’m not sure with the others.

Do you know what field of PoliSci you want? If international relations/comparative politics is your thing, focus on getting into NYU. If you’re more interested in American political behavior Fordham and American are the stronger choices.

don’t stress too much yet you’ve got some time. your course load and extracurriculars look good and your gpa isn’t terrible, but i would mainly focus on bringing up your sat scores since there isn’t a ton you can do to bring up your gpa senior fall. take time this summer to study for the sats. i had around there at the end of junior year and by studying over the summer i was able to bring them all up to the 7 and 8’s.
