<p>my expected family contribution according to fafsa = 0
umd did not even meet the scale i was looking for</p>

<p>i sent in an appeal to hopefully give me more money on my financial package.
i'm asking for 9000 dollars.</p>

<p>and the reason i stated was how my expected family contribution is 0, and i only recieved about 1/5 of it. </p>

<p>how much should i expect i would get from umd after this appeal?
should the fact that i mentioned my 0 expected family contribution play to my advantage?</p>

<p>out of state. i got my fafsa in january 30</p>

<p>since youre out of state, maryland financial aid doesnt have enough funds to pay for you. Theyre only obligated to pay for EFC’s of 0 of instate students.</p>
