Very urgent uc app questions!

Hi, I need some advice on the UC App. Qs arent as long as they look. I am NOT going to be needeing financial aid at all and I come from a pretty affluent family, so keep that in mind:

so should i fill out the parts about family income and size that are not required (if they see that i come from a 350K+ family, would it hurt me if i filled it out)?

also should i fill out the parts about my parent's education (both went to grad school; so couldnt that hurt me)?

Basically the gist of what I am trying to ask is this: I come from a 350K+ family income size. Both of my parents are professionals with grad school education. I know that colleges will expect more from a kid in my econ status. THe UC does not require me to fill the info. So basically, should I include any of these optional parts regarding econ status? Should i bother with any optional parts on the UC APP (like CA SID number) If I dont fill out optional parts, could that hurt my chances (i know ppl say to give UC a complete picture of urself) By not giving UC stuff like CA SID Number (not required) make the UC think I'm lazy?

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bump...................

It's optional for a reason. You get to choose whether or not you want to do it.

I highly doubt that they would hold it against you for not filling out an optional portion of the application

Don't put them, it won't help you. The income part is helpfu if you come from low income.

I think all of the personal information is removed by the time the readers get a hold of the applications. Still, I wouldn't list it if I were you.

ColumbiaStudent is correct. The income info is requested so the UCs can give admissions bonus points to low income applicants, and fee waivers to low-low income apps. Since you are neither, just ignore the income section. OTOH, there is no harm of putting down parental degree.
