Very worried ;/

hey everyone, this is my first post here! well i applied to Penn Reg D. and im a little worried. Could you please evaluate my stats for Penn. I know I am a below average applicant but i doubt i am the lowest stats they have recieved

here we go.

I met my regional director three times at a bunch of Penn events trying to attracts students.
i think my EC;s are fine

i would just like some opinions thks guys

Nothing you can do now. You're certainly competitive.

ur standardized testing is the only worrisome facet of ur resume that i can see....ur other stuff is above average.

i know someone who got in with a score only slightly higher than yours...he had other things going for him but so do you...good luck!

I think ur essays will be crucial. If they're good enough to cover up for ur low standardised test scores, u mite have a good chance....Good Luck!!

you're a philly kid therefore your chances are much higher than they would normally be. so i think you're ok.

do you go to central or masterman?

well which school in Penn are you applying? I think you have the best shot at Penn College.

i think he is going to get in, his scores are so consistent!!! and great ECs and he lives in Philly!!! i wanna have the philly cheese steak sandwich, i heard they are really gooooooooood(drooolllinngggggggg)!!!!

living around philly definitely helps... but i think they tend to help more on ED kids because that's when the most pa kids are accepted isn't it?

i didnt know that. where did you hear that most philly kids apply ED? the rich ones do, i know that

yes, the rich kids, that's what i meant.

a good % of ppl who apply to penn from philly are working class.

o i dont go to central or masterman although i would have loved to, i was accepted into central but its too far away from me, too many buses for my parents to handle I go to george washington high school its in the far northeast like 50 mins from downtown by the bus n train..just average middle class here. i would be the first to go to college in my family n would love to attend PENN. it was a certainly worth a shot. philly cheessteaks r good n very messy....

they're soooooooooooooo good. i like geno's and pat's (no i'm not picking one over the other -- although it's been awhile since i've had them both so my mind might change next time). the one on south street (dunno what it's called) is pretty good, but not as good. last time i was there, the meat was all shredded. while we're on the subject of food, peking duck is amazing...

what schools do you guys near philly go to

That 1210 is going to kill you. To be perfectly honest, I don't think that you have enough going for you to overshadow your less-than-Penn numbers.

u first lucky.

gw is an ok school. they have a good football team. and psh, genos & pats steaks suck. they're so overrated. dalesandros is the real deal, but like no one knows about them.

and i go to GA for whoever asked what school the philly kids go to.
