"Veteran Applicant" :( Chances?

<p>Well its that time of the year again, and my application to the University of Michigan is complete and ready to be reviewed. Would anyone care to input?</p>

<p>Applying as a Sophomore transfer. I applied as a freshman, and later as a winter transfer for freshman year. I was waitlisted as a freshman and outright denied for the Winter of 2012.</p>

<p>High School Stats (Overview/Big Highlights)</p>

<p>3.96 UW GPA
30 ACT
Class President
NHS President
Varsity Football and Varsity Baseball, Academic All State for football
Worked/ Several other EC's (Link crew, Model UN, Forensics)
5 AP classes, Combined with dual enrollment for a total of 33 College credits</p>

<p>First semester at Central Michigan University Stats</p>

<p>4.0 GPA
Neurodegenerative Research
Worked at McDonalds
Member of Health Professions Residential College
Member of Pre-Medical Club
Now have 47 credits, will have completed 63 by end of this year. </p>

<p>I applied in early December, with my application being complete on December 14th</p>

<p>Anyone who takes the time to chance me, thank you so much... I know how monotonous these can get</p>

<p>It might not be you. According to annarbor.com, Michigan is intentionally driving DOWN its student body numbers and still has over 2500 MORE enrolled than it wants to service. Meaning transfers and incoming freshman wannabees are bearing the brunt.</p>

<p>To be honest mate I don’t care whose fault it is… I just want to have the best chances to be on the end that doesn’t bear the blunt</p>
