Alright so in high school, I did very poorly. By graduation, I recieved a painful-to-look-at 1.9 GPA. Knowing that there was no chance i'd get into college, I joined the U.S. Army. Some time into my service, I recieved an honorable discharge, which led me to enroll in community college. After completing one semester (currently in my second semester) I recieved a 3.25 GPA. Now, i'm asking for you all to take these factors into consideration:

-Veteran
-First Generation College Student
-Female (Virginia Tech is roughly 60% male)
-3.25 GPA
-Terrible High School GPA
-Currently maintaining a 4.0 this semester, but they won't see that because of the deadline. If I am rejected, and submit an appeal, however, they will.
