so im talking to kids who have taken like 20 exams MC and FRQ do you think that the 2007 AB calc exam was the was the hardest you've seen in years not MC even though that was alright im talking about FRQ?????????

also show it to your teachers and ask them that question i just wanted to know how hard was this year compared to the rest??????????

I'm not a veteran, but
The FRQ calc and nocalc sections, except for that one question, were amazingly easy.
The MC calc section was amazingly easy.
The other part was hard.

The FR were incredibly, incredibly hard!!! i completely agree and so did everyone in my class. i took a full practice test from a couple years back and got a 5 by like 20 points and i seriously think i failed the ab test today. i thought the mc with calc were the easiest. the mc overall was pretty good though but the FR was AWEFUL

I didn't do as many MC sections as I did practice FRQs. I did all the ones starting from 2000. I wouldn't exactly call myself a veteran, but I think this year's FRQ section has been the hardest one so far.

Er... veterans? You mean like people who took the AP Calculus AB a few years ago? Why and (more importantly) how would they know what the 2007 Calculus AB test? Unless they retook it but that would only show that the (supposedly) easier years were harder for them.

I thought...there were about 4 parts that were hard (parts as in a, b, c) but some of it was a piece of cake. Especially area-volume and related rate. Those two were super easy.

I was so lost on the no calc MC part.
I had basically no clue what I was doing on most of those questions.
:(
I think I totally saved myself in the calc part of section one and all of section II though, because I actually knew what I was doing there.

I don't think those kids qualify as veterans. They're studious (at best). I did a bazillion Calculus problems (and all the released exam questions) and will only consider myself a veteran after a successful AP score...

At least two questions on the FRQ were "unconventional", I had never seen anything like them in my doing 15-16 past FRQ's. Otherwise, it wasn't too bad

You can get recent FRQs from the past couple of years from the CollegeBoard website. Teachers can also order older tests (including MC) from CB itself. I'm not sure if students/parents can do that on their own.

Wow I totally agree. Everybody at my school was really well prepared and we all had the EXACT same response.
No-calculator MC was normal
Calculator MC was the easiest thing ive ever seen
FRQ were wayy harder than they usually are
