Doe anyone know for sure if the Iraq war was "approved" by the attorney general?

It seems like there are different programs in different states and different colleges for “tuition waivers”. Are you asking about the Post 911 GI Bill? You might want to look at this website… it seems to have a lot of info. [New GI Bill - Calculate your benefits and more](http://www.newgibill.org/)

Not really. My state is Montana… I am eligible for a tuition waiver because I’m a war-time vet (honorably discharged) and my post 9-11 GI Bill just ran out … the criteria is different for each state that offers a veteran tuition waiver. I just wanna know if (the Iraq/ Afghanistan conflict) is a “time of war as determined by the Attorney General…”

I can’t find this information anywhere… and it is Spring break, so my VA coordinator wont answer my emails. WWII, Korea, ad Vietnam are examples of “real wars” according to the Attorney General.

Have you asked this in the Veterans sub-forum? It is under the heading “Specialty college admissions topics” inside the Admissions forum. Here is the link: [Veterans - College Confidential](Veterans - College Confidential Forums)

Wishing you much success!
