Hi, I'm an international student from Singapore interested in studying Veterinary medicine in the US. Is there any school that you would recommend? My SATs are 750v 650m and my IB predicteds are 37 (expecting to rise a little maybe 39)
I am thinking of Cornell and UPenn, but I doubt my grades would qualify me there. Since I don't actually need to take prevet which other schools would you recommend me to go to?

I'm thinking of Tufts, and JHU as perhaps target colleges, but I'm not sure though. Any others you would recommend?

Thanks a lot for your assistence : )

The University of Wisconsin might be a good possibility. Also, the University of Michigan. The University of California at Davis is considered very strong for pre-vet science. One last suggestion: The University of Maryland at College Park has an excellent pre-vet program.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I have it on very good authority from many people who planned to become veterinarians. A pre-vet major is not a good idea. If for some reason you change your mind about going to vet school, you will have wasted a good four years because no one besides a vet wants that sort of background. It's much better to go the biochem route or some other science field.
