has anyone taken the AP statistics course from virtual high school? and in general, is it weird taking math classes online?

I took a math class online with Florida Virtual School. Showing work was painful at first, but towards the end it was only very slow. If you’re a “math person”, it shouldn’t be much more difficult than if you had taken it in class, in my experience.

how do you show work, btw?

I did mine with a keyboard. There are symbols for everything on a keyboard, but it takes a lot of practice to do it with any sort of efficiency.

You might get lucky and your teacher might let you scan paper. That would be ideal.

I take AP Stats through Keystone. It’s not particularly difficult. We just scan or fax assignments to show our work.

if you had questions, was the teacher good at explaining it? I just can’t really imagine not having a teacher that i could talk to face to face. how did you do on the AP exam?

I don’t know, I don’t ask questions. I don’t think I’ve ever asked one. You could just email or call them, at least with Keystone. I haven’t taken the AP exam yet (and probably won’t).
