video games and harvard

When I overnighted, it was with 6 guys in a suite and the halo 2 games got reaaaaally intense. i mean really, really intense....

^ go on...

"When I overnighted, it was with 6 guys in a suite and the ....... got reaaaaally intense. i mean really, really intense...."

Does not sound right until you get to the halo part haha. Sorry I am very immature.

Haha ^

I still have to say, Diablo II LOD (on battlenet) > all other games.

Diablo II is amazing. I love maphacking, botting Mephisto, and duping!

So only nerds who play WOW post here...lol

and

Who said CoD2? Are you serious?

Counterstrike and halo 2 all the way right here!

i..i...they told me college was a time to experiment!

hahahahha. no. but it was crazy. they just take halo really seriously, playing multiple times everyday, or at least a few did.

Pssht naw I'm a hardcore Runescaper :)

Double post >.>

Is anyone else upset with the way SC II looks?

It looks like they ported visual effects from WC and DotA.....but now there are guns and lasers. I dunno, I was sort of upset with AoE3 as well.

lol. gameplay over graphics :P

^ Then, are you upset that Protoss/Zerg are going to be COMPELTELY unbalanced again?

I mean, seriously.........Being able to spawn black holes?
Zerglings can explode?

...and the Terrans get a slow moving/firing thing that is almost certainly late game?

mourns for the countless numbers of Marines he is going to lose

The subsequent versions of RTS games are almost never better than their predecessors...kinda like movies.

The only exceptions I can think of:

Many expansion packs,
Red Alert 2 > RA1,
Age of Empires 2 > Age of Empires 1 (> Age of Empires 3),
Although I would disagree, WarCraft 3 > WC1, WC2

video games.
harvard kids know how to party.

^ Don't worry; I have it on good authority that there are gravity bongs/many bottles of Everclear as well.

is there skooma?

^ No, but you can get heroin.

I'd say we've just gotten off topic.

So......anyone else digging these netbooks? My friend has a souped up Acer aspire one, (500 dollars), he can run F.E.A.R. (and the expansions), and COD4 on it. He has to turn down the visual effects ever so slightly, but the thing runs AS SMOOTHLY as on regular pc! (And it's got a 6 hour batt life!)

Video games + Harvard ==> Marriage?
The Harvard Crimson :: News :: Nicole Ali ?08 and James M. McNeer ?07

Does anyone at play Xbox 360 at Harvard or other top universities/colleges? I'm just curious because I am not a PC gamer but rather an avid Xbox 360 player (especially on Call of Duty 4 - I used to be on the MLG circuit until I realized what a waste of time it was and how my school studies were paramount). I'd look to keep on playing CoD4 in college but does anyone actually play it (for the 360)?
