One the freshman (Class of 2010) made this video two weeks ago. If you go to MIT, please tell others your opinions about our school. Really, high school kids, MIT is really not that bad, apply!!! Thanks!

ahaha I know these kids - silly next house frosh. of course, they have a good point, that there's fun to be had here. More generally, no matter what you're looking for you'll probably find it; MIT has more superstars and superstar personalities than anywhere else I can imagine

There was a lot of talking in that video, and the interviews had good, solid content but didn't show anything about life around MIT. Here are two videos I created to advertise my dorm that have slightly less talking but more action:

I'm the guy who made that video. I'd love for more comments, as a group of friends and I are actually trying to make a longer, better version of the same, and eventually try to spam the web with it, CC included. Please leave more comments so we can make an even better video showing life at MIT.

In case any of you are MIT ppl, I'm also trying to get a small clip of PBE and Phi Delt's parties this weekend, so it'll have more of the action the interviews are talking about.

Thanks, and all you potential prefrosh out there, consider applying, please! MIT is so awesome!

angryazn17 - my suggestion is to get more diversity in the video and show people doing all sorts of stuff (not just endless shots of parties). It looks like your first video was just you and half a dozen of your closest friends, which was good for providing your perspective. However, one of the most wonderful things about MIT is its diversity, and I don't mean just racial or cultural diversity. Just think about all 50 or so living groups, and how different each one is from the others ... best of luck in your next video :)

agreed; pbe + phi-delts + next house + your friends = one face of the diamond
I'd like to see a camera passed from person to person around campus, virally
