<p>Both of my daughters applied to the animal science major. One has been accepted the other is still waiting, so while the rest of you wait I have prepared a cyber buffet with everything you like to eat.</p>

<p>Has anyone been outright rejected yet or has all the news been good?</p>
<p>Thank you for your support while we wait. I think this is going to be the most authentic food for a long time. Wherever I go this Fall, I won’t be getting any good home cooked meals.</p>
<p>I have tasted rejection last year from Cal Poly Pomona, I hope that I can turn my back on that institution this year if I am accepted to SLO.</p>

<p>I bet the next wave of notices will be on Wednesday, I see there is another scheduled maintenance on the portal on 2/18, I think last week from what I read here most of the first notices came on Wednedsay 2/11, what do you think?</p>
<p>I assume they are going to get to the posting quicly becasue housing for RD comes on he 17th of Feb.</p>
<p>I think you’re right about next week. The 3 schools that I am still waiting for a reply from (CPSLO, CPP, and SDSU) have all implied that the next weeks are crucial. SDSU told me flat out, people will start to hear next week. CPP said most should hear by the end of the month. And SLO said notices will be released throughout the month up through March.</p>
<p>:-) If it sounds like I’m reaching for hope, it’s because I am. hahaha.</p>

<p>historymom -I am also waiting on results for my daughter, good luck too you. I can not imagine what it must be like waiting for one daughter while the other has already found out. I am having a hard time focussing on work today even though I do not think any thing will come out until tonight. She applied for Kinesiology Major. I have not see any admissions to this major on this site.</p>

<p>But you’re daughter does have a high GPA which is extremely beneficial for her.</p>
<p>Neither of them have accepted yet, they’re waiting to hear back from the UC’s first and both of them had like 4.3 GPAs and pretty high SAT scores but i dont remember there exact scores. i think they were around the 1900 and 2000s overall</p>

<p>I’ve been lurking on these forums for a while but just joined as a member. My daughter is waiting to hear from Cal Poly as well. We visited the school last month (she has a friend attending already) and loved it. </p>
<p>Although I hope she’s accepted, I’m really not stressing too much … whatever will be will be. I don’t know if being out of state will help or hinder the acceptance.</p>
