@kayyx3dee its not letting me accept the spot either… maybe its just a glitch ill try again later.

@kayyx3dee

im having the same problems

Waitlisted. Bummer. I really wanted to be a part of the Nova Family. Congrats to all who got in! I think you will be very happy there. :)

their deferral/waitlist letters are very cold and impersonal… anyone else get the same feel? I mean they ddnt even address us with our first names… all they said was “Candidate:”

Does anyone get that 404 error message when trying to get into the site?

Accepted VSB!!!
Goodluck to everyone!

Son is in for engineering. He saw the video but when he tried to sign in again to show it to me, it wouldn’t let him. I suspect servers are “busy”. For those who are wait-listed, I saw a stat that Nova accepted 350 from last year’s WL so definitely worth doing.

I got accepted! So excited…

cant get into my nova Its giving me a http 404 report and then it
said Apache anyone know

My D was wait listed for nursing

I believe error report any one else have problem

D rejected for nursing :(. Oh well…other great options!

Waitlisted VSB after defferal… darn

For those of you that did get accepted, do you mind posted stats so those of us that are waitlisted can get an idea of where we might possibly stand on the list?

@ratchg sure I’ll post mine!

Decision: Accepted (Engineering)

Objective:
• SAT I (breakdown): 2170
• SAT II: Math II - 740, Biology (M) - 720, Physics - 740,
• Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): ~3.5
• Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): ~50%
• AP (place score in parenthesis): 10 APs, those I’ve taken so far are 4’s
• Senior Year Course Load: Pretty heavy, 5 APs and a honors course
• Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): None (I found a vulnerability in google’s mail system but they didn’t award me anything)
Subjective:
• Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): A ton… my EC’s are pretty strong in my opinion. Apple developer, iPhone app developer, Robotics and Programming club presidents, rowing, etc etc.
• Job/Work Experience: Both job and work experience with programming and computers
• Volunteer/Community service: ~100 hours, presidential service award
• Personal Statement: Excellent
Other
• Intended Major: Computer Science/ Engineering
• State (if domestic applicant): California
• School Type: Private
• Ethnicity: White
• Gender: Male
• Hooks (URM, first generation college, research, etc.): None
Reflection
• Strengths: SAT, ECs, essay, upward trend
• Weaknesses: Grades/GPA
• Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Super strong ECs, and SATs are good (i think?)
General Comments:
Good luck to everyone else!! My school is super competitive and I was pretty immature through sophomore/beginning of junior year so my grades are definitely a turn off. I really love Villanova and am so happy I got in!

Subjective:
• Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): 3 Sport Athlete and captain, manager, Tech Crew, Math tutor. I focused the majority of my app about my interest in hockey. I keep tons of stats and make collages and pictures for my favorite teams and players. I attached a link to a tumblr page for colleges to see what I was talking about; don’t know if it helped, but doubt it could hurt!

Other
• Intended Major: Marketing
• State (if domestic applicant): Massachusetts
• School Type: Private
• Ethnicity: White
• Gender: Female
• Hooks (URM, first generation college, research, etc.): None
Reflection
• Strengths: GPA, Essay,
• Weaknesses: could have had better ECs, SAT, didn’t take any Subject Tests!
• Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I think I showed devotion and passion for the ECs I do have and tried to make my app thoughtful and not generic
General Comments: Good luck to all of you who have been accepted, waitlisted, or even rejected…I am a big believer that everyone will end up where they are supposed to be
