Just wondering how important you guys think the supplemental essay is in our acceptance?

When are the decisions expected to come out ?

Son #1 goes to Villanova. Excellent school. Beautiful campus. Commitment to academics galore

this comes from the website:

Early Decision
Deadline: November 1*
Notification: by December 20

Last year decisions were released on Jan 11th

Recently announced on social media that they will be released on the 15 of january

ugh

I also applied to Nova EA, so we’ll see. Does anyone have any idea how many students were accepted in the ED pool?

two questions: 1. do you think there’s any chance they will be released earlier than the 15th and 2. how much does villanova consider alumni

Last year decisions for EA were released on Friday, 1/11 so maybe on Jan. 10th??? Let’s hope!

See Studiousstudent post above. He said back in December that on social media they said January 15th.

Let me know my chances

Admissions will always maintain the original posted date until the last minute. Last year they announced on Thursday the 10th that decisions would be released after 5PM on Friday the 11th. I have to assume up to that point they were still advertising it as 1/15. All depends on where they are in the process, and if they can get decisions accurately posted on the portal in time for an early release. Sometimes they release early but don’t give advanced notice. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, however, and they stick to the original date, or later. Pretty sure S received his EA decision early when he applied several years ago, but don’t remember the specifics. Best of luck to all!

Thanks @Yocco2. I wasn’t aware that their announcement date was flexible. lol. Good luck to everyone!

Not sure if that will apply this year, last year all of their posts said decisions will be released BY the 15th but this year it says ON

Again not sure if that means anything but we’ll see. Fingers Crossed decisions come out tomorrow!
