Villanova Business Transfer Chances

<p>Hi, I am a freshman at Fordham, and I really want to transfer into Villanova school of business in the fall. What do you think are my chances?</p>

<p>High School:
GPA: 3.5 (Over 4.0 senior year with AP's)
SAT: 1280/1960
Extra Curriculars: club soccer, varsity athlete, weekly hospital volunteer</p>

<p>College:
GPA: 3.67<br>
Extra curriculars: Division 1 Varsity Rower, in lots of clubs</p>

<p>Do you think I have a chances at VSB? Should I talk to the rowing coach about pulling some strings in admissions to help me get in?</p>

<p>If you are an NCAA athlete, there is a specific procedure for transferring. This is required if you are receiving a scholarship to play your sport. You have to talk to your current coach and the coach of the program you would like to transfer to. Your current coach has to release you If you were involved in your sport during freshman year, you may have to red shirt if you transfer. Check the NCAA website. I think they have this scenario under the FAQs section. The likelihood of playing your sport is diminished if your avoid the proper channels.</p>
