Just wondering, does Villanova have a good program for Computer Science?

I got accepted to Villanova for CS, but don't know if it is worth it to go if the program doesn't have a good reputation and will not give me good job opportunities...

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations !

CS is a small but growing major at Villanova , 15 professors & 20 adjunct with 150 students majoring in CS and some grad students. Go to accepted students day , speak to the faculty and current students .
Less than 2% of degrees in 2011 were in CS.
As for job opportunities , CS is in incredible demand and if CS is your interest you will have your choice of jobs when you graduate.
Good luck…

Thanks for the response! I was asking this because I was wondering if it was worth it to go here over a school like Rutgers that has a reputable engineering program (which is what I would be majoring in if I went there).

Now that you cleared things up, I’m definitely leaning towards Villanova, especially since they gave me a good package.
