<p>I was just wondering who decided to apply EA. What school did you apply to? Why did you apply to Villanova? Where are you from?</p>

<p>EA College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and also the dentistry 7 year affiliation with UPenn</p>
<p>Great Campus, nice surrounding area, good reputation, rigorous academics</p>
<p>Will they let us know via email or regular mail? I had always envisioned opening a letter to see if I was admitted, reading an email would be awkward.</p>
<p>also, how competitive is EA admission? Are they more selective than for RD?</p>
<p>They will send you a letter but you'll be able to check sooner on Villanova's online system called Novasis. It's not an email. It just posts their decision online and if you get in it will be used for basically everything you do here. They'll prob send you a pin number for it pretty soon.
And EA is much much more competitive then RD. If you get deferred don't get too discouraged. They only take the very top early. What are your grades and SAT scores and stuff? Then I can prob tell you if you'll get in early or anything.</p>

<p>boston your in no doubt. SAT's are way above average and so is GPA and rank. as long as you have good essays and recs youll be fine.</p>

<p>my daughter applied EA and has been wanting to check on the completeness of her app. She has not yet received a PIN. When did you get yours?</p>

<p>I received a letter in the mail. It was a blue sheet with my username and pin. It was in a regular sized envelope. It could have been easy to miss.</p>

<p>and i got my novasis ID and PIN a while ago</p>
<p>D has still not received Novasis PIN in the mail, but went online and using her social security #, figured out how to get in and check her app.</p>
<p>It appears everything has been received---except maybe her transcript.
On that line there was a blank where the date should have been; however the name of her high school was listed in the next column.</p>
<p>Should there be a date there for her to assume the transcript has been received?</p>

<p>Hi triskadeca. I applied as a spring transfer and am using novasis. For the hs transcript, mine appears like your daughters. There was no date but the column on the right showed the HS. I am assuming that they got it because it appears that several of us are experiencing this. Best of luck to your daughter.</p>

<p>I'd assume that if it gives the name of your high school VU has received your transcript, but I could be wrong</p>
<p>No. The name of your high school is from your Preliminary App. Mine said my high school but it wasn't received. You should have gotten an e-mail by now if you're application is/was incomplete.</p>
<p>No it isn't, my Novasis says High School Transcript, then it has the processed date of October 29th, and beside that it has the name of my high school. Also they indicated that they received my check, which went with my transcript.</p>
<p>Sorry -- I think I misunderstood. If it lists your high school name without a process date, then it hasn't been received.</p>
