DS was Denied to ED VSB.
ACT 33
GPA 3.9 WGT
Decent ExtraCurr but not great
Knew it was a reach but thought ED would improve chances and expected maybe deferred not denied.
DD was accepted EA VSB in 2016 with 31 ACT and 4.3 and good ECs.
4 years later even more competitive.
She has cherished her time as a Wildcat and so have we.
Will be graduating in May Magna Cum Laude with ACCT degree and 1st part of CPA already taken and job in NYC with PWC in Deals. VSB is simply the best. Great prep and placements. She had her job offer before senior year.
And now we wait for DS other EA schools to come in. SMU Dedman is tonight. Hoping for better news.
@catholicmom3 …that is crazy, those stats really awesome, what a bummer. Good luck tonight!!! Hoping for good news for your family!!
I was accepted ED to the liberal arts program. I was back and forth on the decision of whether to apply to the business school, but I know that is harder to get in to and I really wanted to be at Villanova. I figured I can major in economics, do the academic year business minor program offered through VSB, and still get myself into an MBA program. I am so happy to be going to Villanova!
