Villanova ED with somewhat low SAT scores

I applied ED to Villanova but I’m not sure how much my SAT scores are going to negatively impact my chances.
My stats:
Unweighted GPA: 95 Weighted GPA: 100.3
Class rank: 20/165
SAT score: 1240 (I took them twice)
4 AP Classes ( plus one next semester) and around 16 honors courses total
8+ years of ballet, secretary of FBLA ( a few awards for regional competitions), Model UN, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honors Society, Secretary of Spanish Club, Volunteer at local summer camp, Camp counselor, 2 years on Varsity sports team, Honor Roll all four years.

To me, everything on my application seems alright except for my SAT score. I know my SAT scores are extremely low for Villanova but do I still have a chance.

What major/school did you apply for? Business and nursing are very competitive. Engineering also requires higher stats.

Hey, I’m kind of in the same boat as you! Here are my stats:
Application Type: Early Decision
Intended Major: Computer Science
Unweighted GPA: 96 Weighted GPA: 102.33
Class rank: 6/359 (NJ Public)
SAT: 1290 (R/W: 620 M: 670)
5 APs (My school is weird when it comes to APs)
Junior:
AP United States History
Senior:
AP Physics I
AP English Literature
AP Calculus AB
AP Computer Science (Self-Studying, school doesn’t offer)
ECs:
200+ Hours Volunteering, 4-Year Varsity Athlete along with club and other teams outside of school, 30 hr/wk job (manager position), and others

Based on my SAT score being kinda low and Villanova’s acceptance rate dropping to 22% I am really not confident, but I’ll be so happy if I get in, best of luck to you!

This is only Villanova’s second year offering ED. Last year the ED acceptance rate was much higher than other forms of admission. I am in the same position as you and am hoping that an ED application will give me a better shot.
