My school calculates GPA on an unweighted 100 scale. I’m unsure of how to calculate my weighted or unweighted 4.0 GPA. As of the end of junior year, I’ve taken 3 APs (and gotten a 96+ GPA in all three) and my overall average is a 94.2. I realize all schools calculate GPA differently, but if someone give me a general idea of what my weighted and unweighted 4.0 GPA is or how I can calculate it, I’d really appriciate it! VSB is my top choice and I’d like to know how I compare to past admitted students. Thank you so much!
sooooo i was confused by this too, okay so its basically just a ratio i think (please correct me if i’m wrong). like do the math… 96/100 is equal to x over 4 (or 5 on the 5.0 scale.) i didn’t realize it worked this way until i realized the correlation with my own gpa. if you don’t wanna do the math yours would be a 3.768 out of 4.
