I am a senior in high school from CA and toured Villanova for the first time on Friday. Unfortunately it was raining but the campus was still very nice. I went to the accepted students meeting and then met up with a student who gave me a tour. He is a senior and has enjoyed his four years at Villanova tremendously. The day made me much more enthused about Villanova and left me with a decision of where to go for the next four years of my life. Anyone want to give some compelling reasons why Villanova is THE place to go?

Anyone have any opinions?

i also really liked nova when i visited this weekend…everyone there was warm and welcoming. id like to hear opinions as well since i am deciding between nova and bc

Did you go to candidates weekend? How was it?

I was also at Villanova the other day, rain sucks. The community seemed very strong, and the students were very welcoming. The one thing I dislike is the catholicism. My other choice, like you wicked, is BC. However Villanova seems much more religious than BC. I don’t mind catholicism to an extent, but if it affects my college experience (negatively) I do. I get the feeling that it will a lot more at Nova than at BC.

Talking to a senior at Villanova, he said that the religion aspect of the school is there as much as you choose for it to be there. He said that if you want it you can have it but if you don’t you don’t have to have it. So, I don’t think Villanva’s religious aspect will negitively influence your college experience.
