Villanova Transfer (Accepted w/o housing)

Anyone transfer to VU know the deal with campus housing?
The college says that there is none, but that they can temporally house you at another University.
Anyone had a similar experience?

Hi Cash. I am wondering this too. From what I have read, transfers get put into Rosemont College's Kaul Hall. Mapquest.com shows that the college is a very close distance to Villanova. There is no guarantee however, that you will get housing and no gurantee that if you do get into Kaul Hall that they will move you onto campus. Apparantly there is a housing crunch?
Did you apply for the spring and get accepted already??

Rosemont is very, very close to Nova.

Yes, I applied Sping 2008 and recieved my letter this afternoon.

A friend of mine goes to Villanova, and one of her friends was a transfer and was able to get housed on nova's campus. She went to housing and requested a room change the first week or something like that. If I were you, I'd definitely try to talk to housing and see what they can do for you. Maybe someone is studying abroad and you can take their room? Or maybe after the first week or so, someone will request a room change and you could get into their room. Definitely talk to housing though.
