Villanova Transfer?

Hi, all... I go to Bentley University, but it's just not a fit for me. Now in my third semester here, I would like to transfer.

Below are my stats...

College GPA: 3.45

SAT: 1300/1600, 1930/2400

HS Weighted Avg: 95

I attribute my low GPA to taking upper level courses I was able to take as a result of getting 15 AP credits in HS. I am in Bentley's Honors Program. I am the treasurer of the Marketing Club. I also play for the school's club rugby team.

I was waitlisted at Villanova's Business School when I was first applied as a HS senior.

Do I have a shot at the business school now? If not, the regular liberal arts school?

Thank you!

P.S., I want to apply this semester and transfer for next semester, or take a semester off, because remember, I came in with 15 credits, so I will technically be a junior next sem!

Can someone please reply?

Please?!?!

Anyone???

I wish I could be of more help, but start by looking at Villanova’s averages for entering freshmen/transfers into the business program to get an idea of where you objectively stand.

From what I hear, they are not accepting applications for the buiness school or the nursing program for the spring 09. I would also be weary of applying to the colleges of liberal arts and sciences with the intention of transfering into the buisness school once you are in. The admission board is apparently not fooled by this manuever. Your best bet is to wait and apply for fall 2010 to the buisnness school when there are spaces available.

Yeah nova doesn’t take b-school transfers in spring. I will also be applying there for fall 2010 and I haven’t really been able to find any data on their average accepted transfer stats.
