Hey guys, i got into both Boston College and Villanova...Because of some serious family matters, my extension for both schools was extended to June 1st. I got the exact same financial aid from both schools and have heard nothing but good about from both. If I could get some none biased opinions that would be great. Thanks a lot.

what is your major?

im undeclared right now but i will more than likely go into business. that shouldnt matter tho because both schools are essentially equal in their undergrad business programs

if your looking for unbiased oppinion im probably not the person for it.. but i transfered to villanova and could have almost def got into bc if i applied there..and nova has treated me very well.

where did you tansfer from?

I transfered from The University of Maryland College Park, Smith school of business. I went there freshman year because I received a heavy scholarship.

I think a big part of it will be would you rather be in Boston or Philadelphia. If you want to major in business you can't go wrong at either school so I would make my choice by visiting both and choosing the one that feels right to you during your visit. Not much help, but I think you will be splitting hairs over any of the other reasons becasue they are both fantastic schools.

i feel like while they both are equal on a business level, BC is a higher caliber school than villanova in regards to prestige/education.

I was in the same situation last year. Villanova is very proud to have the 12# Business School in the nation, which I think says something. It's hard for me to be un-biased because Villanova is such a good school in my opinion. Villanova is slightly smaller and in a different location. Whichever you choose, I'm sure you'd be happy. Personally, I'm extremely satisfied with my decision in choosing nova.
