Anyone have any advice/opinions? Thanks!

any insight would be great! what about Vanderbilt and Bucknell compared to these, too?

bucknell >nova (but not by a lot)
vandy and ND are about equal

these schools have different atmospheres so I would suggest visiting them. In terms of eng. Bucknell, Vandy, and ND are all good. Nova is a little bit below the other three but still good.

Under the environmental umbrella of civil engineering, Villanova has a strong water resources capability, and Notre Dame has strong env chemistry/fate & transport capability.....for what its worth.

Same subject....environmental aspect of CE...Vandy not too well known here, & Bucknell very respected, especially for a liberal arts school. In fact, if my kid wanted to go into CE, especially the environmental side, I'd recommend Bucknell over all the others you've mentioned.....Bucknell produces engineers that can actually communicate, and as a consulting employer, I have a preference for hiring there.
