I am entering Villanova on the fall 2017, I am from Chile in south america… Is it true that the groups of friends are really defined? Is it hard to make friends if you are not completely white? If you are not white or in greek life can you make lots of friends or i would be restricted?
Just be friendly and join clubs/activities that you are interested in and you will be fine. Lot’s of people are “not completely white” in the U.S and have friends from all walks of life.
@claudio1 Congrats on your acceptance. The students on campus are very welcoming. Freshman orientation is a great way to begin forming friendships. My S is a freshman now and has been close friends with several of the people who were in his freshman orientation group. Get involved and join clubs. Classes are small and you will get to know your classmates well. Put yourself out there and you will be just fine!
