i have heard some negative things about it and was wondering what any of you had to say about it..any help is much appreciated

To the contrary, its a fabulous school, a gorgeous campus and a really great experience. If you are in, then go if that is where you want to go.....

but give us more facts.....where else you applied and so forth.....apples to apples.

Nova is a superb school. And I mean that.

What negative things? That people call it Vanillanova for it's lack of diversity?

haha Vanilla-nofun is what I've heard..
I was deferred EA from Georgetown along with the entire student body at my school...so now it is down to Bucknell, Holy Cross, Vanderbilt probably (assuming I'm not accepted regular to Georgetown which is my first choice)
I would think that tomorrow I will be accepted to Villanova, I would be pretty surprised if I weren't. So in comparison to those schools listed, anything else?

you can have fun at any college you want to. i know lots of people at nova and they ALL have a BLAST there.
i went for a tour at 'nova...and it seems like an AWESOME place to be... 2nd on my list behind bucknell :)

And if you really want to know, I would likely favor Villanova over Bucknell, Holy Cross and Vanderbilt anyway. But that is my personality and preference, and it may not be yours. Prestige is a factor that is insatiable in some people and dominates their decision making process. But you go where you fit the best and think that you will do your best academically (i.e. not get distracted by parties and other issues.)
