Merit comes a little later. I got my honors college admission the same day in a different envelope and merit a few weeks later.
I think UVM is pretty much equal to UMASS.</p>

<p>So glad to hear that 5boys, that deferral was a real head scratcher - some weird stuff happens during the admissions process that’s for sure.</p>
<p>Very amusing–I got a letter from the Honors College congratulating me, then a letter about my Merit scholarship, and a full week later the Admissions letter arrived!</p>
