So very Excited to hear back from UVM! Just visited again this weekend and I really Love it!
BTW, I just happened to sign in to the admissions portal to check my status and it was changed to accepted. Good luck everyone!!

How long did it take you to hear? Did you actually get something from them or just find out by visiting their portal? I just submitted my app last night so just waiting for my school to send transcripts, etc.

How long after you sent in your common app did you get info to sign into their portal?

Application was sent on Sept 28. I just happened to look on the portal yesterday and the decision was there. The last time I checked was on Thursday. UVM is an Amazing school and I just hope that I can afford it. I guess I won’t know that until the Spring. My plan is to Stay positive : ) Best of Luck to you as well.

Sorry I missed your other question…They send out the email containing login info within a few days after your app is submitted. It takes about a week for them to get all of your supporting information included in your application file. May take longer now that they are probably receiving more apps. Hope that helps

Just submitted my app 2 days ago. Wish I got all my stuff together sooner! Haven’t heard back about my login info but hopefully soon. good luck everyone, and congrats to those who have already heard!

Also, just a question. I got a letter in the mail inviting me to apply as a VIP applicant. I submitted and chose the fee waiver they told me to. Do they just have me listed a s a VIP applicant/will know, or did I have to indicate on my application?

Decision: Accepted
Major/college: College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences
State: MA
GPA:3.8/4.23 weighted
ACT Score: 33
I sent it on October 25th and found out today, October 30th.

I don’t think there was a way to select VIP on the application, if there was, I didn’t see it. Regardless I am still listed as VIP (check your Application Summary/Application Type)

We all loved UVM, but it’s not at the very top of his list because it’s a little farther away than he’d like to be. We (parents) are also worried it might end up being the most expensive option. Very exciting nonetheless! And if he does enroll there, we have no doubt he’ll be very happy!
