Has anyone else been issued a VIP ID? My son received one when he filed his FAFSA and apparently it can be used to enter the “my.sc.edu” site. We used it to explore the site, and when I clicked on the link to pay “Undergraduate Enrollment Deposit” it says “You do not have an eligible admissions status”. I am guessing since it’s already March 7th and decisions go out on March 16th, he’s not getting in… 
Has anyone else that has applied Regular Decision tried this? I’m just curious cause my son is really hoping to get into USC.
My daughter also received a VIP ID from filing her FAFSA and she does not have access to explore the site or even view a link that says “undergraduate enrollment deposit” so that may be a good sign for your son. She only has access to view her personal information (name, address, number) and a financial aid link. When she clicks on the FA link the message is “Based on your academic transcript, the status of your academic progress is Not Yet Reviewed as of Fall.”
