If I sound cranky, I mean it. I try to give people good, informed opinions, and keep uneducated half-opinions to myself. But when someone throws something out there like, "Oh, this school does this and this," it really makes my life harder if I want to ensure that posters get good information.

First of all, who gives a crap if a school has a low acceptance rate or a high acceptance rate? It's a lousy indicator of difficulty of admission. Yale's acceptance rate is relatively high, but only the super-qualified people even apply. W&M waitlists a lot of people automatically, so they cut down on the people who they accept but don't want to go there. They do accept, according to LSAC, 924 students every year.

GPA: 3.80-3.31
LSAT: 165-160.

Um, for a 3.4 student with a 165 LSAT and VA residency, that's a match.

Georgetown:
GPA: 3.80-3.42
LSAT: 170-167

Um, yeah, that's a reach for someone whose GPA is hovering around the 25th percentile and LSAT doesn't compensate, because it's lower than the 25th percentile.

GW:
GPA: 3.80-3.45
LSAT: 166-163

Wow, that looks a lot like W&M, just slightly higher LSATs.

UVA:
LSAT: 171-167
GPA: 3.83-3.53

Hum, it's probably harder to get into UVA than to get into W&M. The OP's stats are in the bottom 25th percentile for each, hence the "reach" label.

W&L:
GPA: 3.79-3.25
LSAT: 166-162

Sounds a lot like W&M, but with a slightly higher LSAT requirement.
