I have a child who lives with her mother in another state but who is attending a Virginia college as an in-state student based on my residency.
If I move out of the state can she remain a Vurginia resident or will she become an out of state student?
Ask the VA school and get their answer in writing…and save it.
I think she loses it but go to the school’s website and search residency requirements. I noticed some had different requirements to prove residency than other schools. One school required proof of vehicle registration and one wanted information from my voter registration card.
