<p>This is the end all, be all of athletic department rankings. This system evaluates every athletics department in its entirety. Virginia Tech was as low as 80th just 6-7 years ago. Non-revenues and basketball sports have picked up big time since ACC admission. On tap for this spring, our Tennis Team is ranked 20th and beat 22nd FSU tonight. Our baseball team is looking solid and might be coming of age under Coach Pete Hughes. Softball is horrible, but track is solid and is after a top 15 ranking in both men's and women's and potential ACC titles. Our golf squad is solid as well. All in all, if Baseball can exceed expectations, I think we can finish in the Top 25 for the first time in VPI history :).</p>
