Virginia Tech Early Decision

I loved Virginia Tech the first time I visited and I really want to apply early decision. I want to get into the engineering school!
I was just wondering if I would be able to get in early or if I would be better off just waiting until Regular decision.

GPA: 4.0 (weighted) 3.8 unweighted (I'm hoping to work hard in the first quarter to raise this up a little more)

SAT: math: 650
writing: 570
reading: 620

ACT: Composite: 27
Math: 30
Reading: 28
English: 24
(I'm planning on retaking the ACT in september, hoping to get a 30 at least)

I'm also planning to take the math 2 and physics SAT subject tests.

I also do a lot of volunteer work, I work outside of school, I've participated in sports, I'm in the National Honor Society, I started my own photography business, I'm taking all IB classes and am a IB diploma candidate, and I'm applying for the math and science honor societies this year.

VA Tech ED: Match

BOOOOO!!! You wanna be an engineer but can’t even math! Try William and Mary engineering. :(|)

@2500satlolz what?

W&M doesn’t have engineering but thanks for your (not very helpful) help

If it’s your first choice, then apply ED because chances are often better during ED and your a strong candidate overall. I don’t think Va Tech requires SAT 2 subject tests - so you might want to skip those to focus on your ACT and SAT prep.
