Virginia Tech Early Decision

<p>Hi,
I plan on doing early decision to Virginia Tech.
I currently have a 4.08 on a 4.0 scale. My combined SAT score is a 1780.
Currently in- Math, Science, Spanish, and National Honor society and Debate.
I was wondering how much dropping Calculus BC from my schedule would affect my chances for Virginia Tech? IF I were to drop it, I would still have AP Gov, AP Lit, and AP Spanish in my curriculum.</p>

<p>I know I will not receive an A in the class. A B at most. I've taken 5 years of math up to Calculus AB. BC's a bit too difficult for me and it's stressing me out greatly.</p>

<p>Calc BC is probably one of the toughest courses you can take… i dont think it should hurt you.</p>

<p>you could include a personal statement or short essay explaining why you decided to drop it.</p>

<p>but i think you have a pretty good shot of getting in</p>
