So I have a bunch of friends who go to Tech, and they said they’ve met tons of people who transferred after their first year at community college! So we have a chance!
I’m filling out the honors application, and it says that in order to apply for the scholarship we had to do it before January first, but it’s still allowing me to fill it out. Is this a mistake?
It’s not too late to apply to the honors program; however it is to late to qualify for the scholarship they give out.
@ashleydawn that’s awesome to hear about Hokies who had transferred out of community college after one year! It gives me hope haha also what do you plan to do about the living situation if you do get in?

I’m planning on getting an apartment off campus. From what I’m hearing it is unlikely to live on campus following freshman year.
Ah okay yeah makes sense, what stresses me out is that were going to have to find people to share it with! @ashleydawn all my friends at tech already have an apt with friends 
@Hokiedokie2015 @ashleydawn I was worried about housing too (and still kind of am), but my friend at Tech said that she has friends who transferred and the process was actually a lot easier than they thought it would be… there’s a housing fair in March I think and they can help you a lot with it. I wouldn’t worry too mcuh about it! You’ll figure it out.
