Virginia Tech - National Merit Finalist Scholarship?

<p>On VT's website, the most specific they get about NMF scholarships is this: "Virginia Tech sponsors scholarships for National Merit finalists identifying Virginia Tech as their first choice." Does anyone know how much these scholarships are generally worth? I'm considering attending VT from OOS, and I'm curious as to whether this scholarship would be significantly helpful in reducing costs. Thanks so much for any info you can provide!</p>

<p>I was a National Merit Finalist, and the scholarship I recieved was $2000 dollars ($1000/semester for two semesters). I hope this helps. Good luck!</p>
