We just noticed the Priority Consideration deadline of December 1 on the freshman application page. We had thought the only deadlines were November 1 early decision and then January 15 for regular admission. This deadline does not show up in all of the timelines for applications on the website. Anyone know how important is is to have your application in by December 1 to be considered for scholarships, university honors and/or admission?

The deadline is listed on the website. Go to Undergraduate Admissions then to Dates & Deadlines. December 1 is the Priority Deadline. It lists all of the particulars for that deadline.
Priority deadline pushes your app for scholarship review and also puts you in consideration to apply to the Honor’s college I believe. Though, I received an e-mail yesterday that the priority deadline has been pushed back to the 8th.
I am still confused about the priority deadline–are we still considered for merit scholarships after submitting our apps past Dec 1st?
