So here is the deal. I was admitted into Purdue's school of Agriculture for Bioengineering which is kind of what I want to do but it has way too much of an agricultural focus which I don't want at all. If I attended I would try and transfer to Engineering for Ecological Engineering. I was also admitted to Virginia Tech (and many others) for first year engineering so I would not have to worry about the transfer. I have visited both campuses and am OOS for both. I liked both campuses a lot although Tech had much better food and Purdue had much better dorms. The costs of both are quite similar. I know Purdue would carry much more prestige and offers more resources, but it has a high drop out rate from engineering and as much as I want to be strongly challenged, I don't want to fail.

Go to the freaking college selection forum… What the heck is going on with all of these threads? One person posts something, and a bunch of people follow?

My advice at this point is: Go to VT because Purdue sounds like a mustard.

Woah sorry there…*******

It’s not personal, it’s just… Look at all of the threads.

Sorry, but it just seemed that this one got the most responses and I take back my censored comment. I do love Manhattan more than anywhere in the world.

I’ve visited both schools. go to Virginia Tech! the food is so good there too in addition
