Virginia Tech to Georgia Tech?

I am currently enrolled in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech and am thinking about transferring to GaTech. I will have 60 credits by the end of this semester.

Current University: Virginia Tech
Major: Mechanical Engineering (Switching to Chemical Engineering)
GPA Overall: 3.1
GPA Major related: 3.08
Credits: 60 (by end of semester)

I have all of the pre-requisites met.

Do I have a chance of being accepted as a transfer?

Yeah, don't worry. This isn't like Harvard or Yale where only 5% of transfers are accepted, LOL. GA Tech accepts A LOT of applicants in the freshmen decisions, some of whom can't always handle the workload (very, very large workload I must tell you). So, the next year, they have more slots open for transfers.

And, I think with your stats you have a decent chance of admittance.

Thanks for the response. :)
